Kaijudo: Fire’s Song Ch.2
I do not own kaijudo as sad as it is.
Silently, a dark figure leaped from rooftop to rooftop, stalking her prey. She flexed and flowed like a cat. Her target was a group of three 14 year olds. One was a girl with blond hair and emerald eyes. From what Rachel had found, she was rich and had a wit faster than lighting as she had shown on several occasions.
The boy next to her was heavy set, and had dark curly hair which was always hid by his cream colored hat. He was the brains of the group and always prepared, very prepared, to a fault. On the other side of the girl was another boy. He had black hair and chocolate eyes that swirled with kindness. “His manner is nice as well” she thought as she dropped into the ally across from them. Making sure her black cloak was secure, she watched as the trio went into the five paths studio.
She had been following them for a week now and noticed that the kids always seem to go there, sometimes abruptly. In fact, she had seen them sneak out in the middle of the night to go. This was one of those nights, and tonight was the night that she was going to find the truth. Like a shadow, she slipped into the door and put on the hood. She stopped as she heard their voices.
“This is the third time this week” she heard the blond say with a yawn “This had better be good to get me up this early”. “I have to agree, after all we need 8 hours of sleep or more if we want to function properly…” the smart boy was cut off by boy in red. “Come on guys, think of this as an opportunity to send more time with our creatures”. “Ah, so that’s what those things are called” she thought to herself as the group continued their conversation of the early wake up calls.
She watched them as they stopped in front of the mirror with golden dragons on it. Suddenly, the girl pushed on the wall and, surprisingly, it gave way. The glass on the mirror moved to the side revealing a secret passage. Gasping a surprise, Rachel quickly covered her mouth, remembering that she wasn’t alone. She prayed that they didn’t hear her. Luckily, they were too engrossed in their conversation to notice as they descended into the passage.
Rachel slipped in just before the mirror slid shut. The eerie light from the torches shined onto the cave giving it an ancient feel, like some of those mummy movies. “Except here, there are more monstrous and dangerous creatures” she grimly thought “and they’re real”. She creeped down the stairs, trying her best to stay in the shadows. Finally, she saw the end of the tunnel. Stepping into the light she gasped… To be Continued.
Alright! Second ch. is complete and thank you all for helping me out!
